Organizing your scripts

I like to keep my scripts in another location, not in the default "~\Documents\Blue Cat Audio\Blue Cat's Plug'n Script\Scripts".

Though I can use "Load Script..." to get them, it's very convenient to quickly access them through the dropdown menu.

For that you can use NTFS Junction Points on Windows (or Links on Mac) to make your folder be aliased in the default user scripts folder.

Windows

I like to use FAR Manager to do that. Select the folder "~\Documents\Blue Cat Audio\Blue Cat's Plug'n Script\Scripts" on one side, select the folder you'd like to mirror on the other side and hit Alt+F6. Then choose "link type: directory junction" and hit "create link".

This way you can keep your scripts in a folder of your choice and at the same time quickly access them from Plug'n Script dropdown menu.

You can find alternative ways to create junction points in Google.

Mac

Double Commander works for me. Just right click and drag the folder you want to mirror and select "Create Link".
